WELCOME TO INDEPENDENT LIVING PLACEMENT
Independent Living Placement is a person-centered supportive services organization that works with a wide variety of clientele in all sorts of settings. From supportive employment to community supports, Independent Living Placement's professional and engaging staff will work with you towards your goals and maximum independence.
Employment Supportive Services:
Individualized services and supports that help people maintain paid employment in community business settings. Employment support services occur in integrated community settings.
In-home family supports:
Services provided to a person and his/her family (including extended family members) in the family’s home and/or in the community to enable the person to remain in or return to the home. This includes training of the person and family members to increase their capabilities to care for and maintain the person in the home.
IHS training is direct training from a staff person to address the identified skill development:
• Communication skills
• Community living and mobility
• Interpersonal skills
• Reduction/elimination of maladaptive behavior
• Sensory/motor development involved in acquiring functional skills.
